
Born in Northern México, graduate from Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and Berlinale Talents Alumni(2020).
He was recently awarded with the Golden Frog for Best Documentary Short at Camerimage (2024) for his work in Shotplayer, directed by Sam Shainberg.
In 2024, he premiered his first documentary series Los 43 de Ayotzinapa: Un Crimen de Estado, directed by José Ortiz, for HBO/Max.
In 2022, he premiered Cuando Cae la Noche, his first documentary feature as a director at FICG(Guadalajara International Film Festival).
His narrative and documentary work has screened internationally in Sundance, Berlinale, Cannes, SXSW, Slamdance, Hot Docs. Nationally, his work has been awarded by the Academy and in FICM, GIFF, FICG, DocsMx.
